Action Plan: Partner Relationships

AREA OF WORK 4 – Develop an Effective and Trusting Relationship between Partners
Aim: To improve partners’ knowledge and understanding of each other’s activities and positions to develop mutually beneficial working relationships.

Objectives:

  • To promote joint working between partners.
  • To share information about partners’ own organisation and current work programmes, priorities and objectives.
  • To develop a trusting relationship between partners to share skills and explore strengths and weaknesses.
  • To share information about links with and the work of strategic agencies.
  • To share information about themed networks and partnerships.

 

Action Aim to pitch for collective pieces of work via skills database.

Collate information about skills in Partner Organisations.
Identify gaps.
Using collective skill base to forward PPRA objectives & generate income.
Agree a protocol for skill sharing / charging etc.

Action Peer review of partners' projects to get external view of progress amd support arguments for continuation. Share the outcomes of this evaluation work. Example of existing practice is DDCVS signposting project paid review by VCDD, RAD have carried out four peer reviews on quality standards.
